She’s accused of taking $6K in horse saddles, but her bond was only $1,000

An Ocean Springs woman is accused of taking more than $6,000 in horse saddles and accessories from her employer and hiding them inside her grandmother’s trailer, officials said.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said Jerricah Ann Pierron, 25, was arrested on a grand larceny charge. She was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.

Ezell said Pierron took saddles and horse tack belonging to Ginny Harrison of Covington, La. Pierron, who took care of Harrison’s horses, allegedly took the items from a storage trailer belonging to Harrison on Old Fort Bayou Road.

Harrison told officials Pierron had access to the trailer, Ezell said.

Harrison’s saddles and other equipment were found on Lakeridge Drive in Ocean Springs.
