Gunman shaved his face before robbing Waffle House

Police are seeking help to find the man who robbed a Waffle House on Wednesday morning while armed with a semiautomatic handgun.

A man, who witnesses described as being “clean-shaven,” walked into a Waffle House on Bobby Eleuterius Boulevard shortly after 5 a.m., displayed the gun and demanded money from the register, D’Iberville Police Capt. Marty Griffin said.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man left the store and drove away in a minivan northbound across Promenade Parkway toward Interstate 110, Griffin said.

The gunman is describe as white, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He has light blue or hazel eyes and red hair. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt with a skull on the lower-left side and green flames coming from it and a black hat bearing an unknown emblem.
