Police arrested a Biloxi man on a charge of grand larceny Wednesday.

Joseph Richard Harrison, 42, is being held in the Harrison County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.

Harrison turned himself in to officers at the D’Iberville Police Department after learning he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the Grand Larceny charge, Capt. Marty Griffin said.

The charge stems from an investigation that began June 27 after items were stolen from a home on Whetstone Road. Harrison knew the victim, who was out of town at the time the items were stolen, police said.. Some of the items were located at a pawn shop. Investigators are attempting to locate the remaining missing items.
