70-year-old man found dead in Mobile home

Police in Mobile say a 70-year-old man was found dead in his home.

WKRG-TV reports the man was found dead Saturday. Police say the man appeared to have been hit in the head several times with an unknown object. Police say investigators didn’t find any signs of forced entry into the home.

The man’s body was being sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Police did not immediately release the man’s name.

Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information call them.
