PASCAGOULA -- A drunken brawl that started in a Market Street bar ended outside, police said, after a man rammed his vehicle into four other vehicles.

The fight at Thunder's Tavern about 2:30 a.m. Friday ended when someone fired shots at the man's tires to stop him, police Lt. Doug Adams said.

Ronnie Wayne Hoda, 25, had jumped into his vehicle and started hitting other vehicles in the parking lot, he said.

Police arrested him on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving under a suspended license. He was held at the Jackson County jail. His bonds were set at $1,500.

"It was a bunch of drunks fighting and they took the fight outside," Adams said. "I don't know any other way to explain it."

None of the owners of the damaged vehicles had signed a complaint against Hoda as of Friday afternoon.

They could file a complaint on a malicious mischief charge, he said.

Auto damage exceeding $500 would make the charge a felony.

Adams said police arrested three others at the brawl on misdemeanors including public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
