BILOXI -- A Friday-night high-speed chase down one the Coast's busiest roads ended in a crash and the arrest of three people, authorities said.
Bilxoi police Sgt. O'Neil Adams said officers responded to a 911 call regarding an armed robbery in the area of Division and Lameuse streets just before 11:30 p.m.
A man told police he was walking in the area when a silver vehicle pulled up and stopped. The caller said three people exited the vehicle, pointed guns at him and demanded money. Adams said an unknown amount of money was taken during the robbery.
Adams said officers saw a vehicle fitting the description on Beach Boulevard and tried to stop it.

"The vehicle drove in a reckless manner by exceeding the speed limit while weaving in and out of other vehicle traffic and running several red lights," Adams said. "The suspect vehicle stopped after crashing into another vehicle in the area of Beach Boulevard and Cowan Road."
Terry Ray Preston Jr., 20, was arrested on the charges of armed robbery and felony eluding and Isavian Preston, 18, on a charge of armed robbery. Adams said a 17-year-old was also arrested on a charge of armed robbery but his name was not released.
Judge Albert Fountain set Terry Preston's bond at $50,000 on the fleeing charge and denied him bond on the armed robbery charge. Isavaian Preston's bond was set at $150,000 by Fountain.
Adams said Gulfport police conducted the crash investigation and only minor injuries were reported by a passenger of the vehicle that was struck.
