GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Police in coastal Alabama say the son of Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson was arrested on drug charges at The Hangout music festival.

Jail records say 40-year-old Asa Hutchinson III of Benton, Arkansas was arrested Saturday and is charged with possession of a controlled substance. He's out on $5,000 bond.

Major Anthony Lowery tells WKRG-TV deputies found "Molly" and ecstasy in his front waistband during a pat down. Lowery says Hutchinson wouldn't say where the drugs came from.

Hutchinson was also arrested in January for driving under the influence. It's unclear if he has an attorney.

Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who once headed the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, says his son is an adult and will have to address this incident as he has addressed other things in the past.
