Burglar removed bricks to get into Biloxi business
BILOXI -- Police are seeking help to identify a burglar who removed bricks to get into a store, officials said.
Investigators said the break-in at C&C Convenience Store occurred about 1 a.m. Thursday. It was reported to police about 9 a.m. The store is on Howard Avenue, at the corner of Keller Avenue.
The burglar stole several grocery items and vandalized an ATM in the store, police Sgt. O'Neal Adams said.
Video surveillance caught an image of a man inside the store at the time of the burglary. Police released a picture of the man later Thursday.
Police described him as a white man with a mustache who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing wire-frame glasses, a short-sleeved, blue striped shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
Anyone who recognizes him or can identify him is asked to call Biloxi police dispatchers at 392-0641 or the criminal investigations division at 435-6112.
