JACKSON COUNTY -- A Pascagoula woman is facing two felony charges in a shooting in Moss Point that wounded a man and woman.
A Jackson County grand jury indicted Brittney Shilon Patton, 28, on two counts of aggravated assault. She has pleaded not guilty and is free awaiting trial on a total bond of $40,000.
Patton is accused in the Sept. 6, 2014, shooting of Kierra McWilliams and Antwan Williams near the Family Dollar store on Mississippi 613. Both suffered life-threatening wounds but survived.
Moss Point police investigated the case.

Patton is scheduled for a court appearance May 10.
Aggravated assault is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. If convicted of both charges, she could go to prison for up to 40 years.
