Vancleave man arrested after fake money used

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said a Vancleave man was arrested after fake money was used in the St. Martin area.

Ezell said Malcolm Ellis McDaniel, 46, was arrested on 18 counts of possession of a counterfeit instrument.

McDaniel is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $18,000.
