GULFPORT -- A massage therapist who secretly filmed a client while she was nude has been sentenced to prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
Matthew Edward Pierce, 27, received a five-year prison term at his sentencing Monday in Harrison County Circuit Court.
Circuit Judge Lisa Dodson suspended three years, leaving two to serve, and ordered three years of probation.
A jury found Pierce guilty April 6 after a two-day trial. The crime is filming a person without permission when there is an expectation of privacy. The maximum penalty is five years if the victim is an adult and 10 years if it's a child.

Pierce was a licensed massage therapist when he gave massages in a Long Beach home in 2014.
A woman who was about to dress after a session noticed a cellphone positioned in an unusual way. She found a recording of herself and quickly forwarded the video to her cellphone, left, then contacted police.
Long Beach police arrested Pierce on Oct. 3, 2014.
Prosecutors said the evidence showed the recording wasn't accidental.
The victim was in the courtroom but did not speak at Pierce's sentencing.
