GULFPORT -- Police are asking for help to solve two unrelated shootings last week that killed two men and wounded two on city streets within three days.
The men killed each died of a gunshot wound to the chest, Coroner Gary Hargrove said.
The shootings occurred in neighborhoods about two miles apart.
The latest shooting, on Saturday, is Gulfport's third homicide this year.

Dennis Bunch, 27, was shot Saturday afternoon outside the Dolan Commons Apartments on 31st Street near 23rd Avenue.
"It happened outside an apartment in a parking lot," police Sgt. Damon McDaniel.
Hargrove said Bunch was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m.
In the shooting Wednesday night, police found three men with multiple gunshot wounds while responding to calls of shots fired on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Louisiana Avenue.
Mitchell Weathersby, 54, died at a hospital about 9:15 p.m. Police said they found him suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle that struck a utility pole on the west side of U.S. 49 near the Family Dollar store.
Two other men were found on the east side of the highway, indicating they'd tried to run away, McDaniel said.
No further details have been released, though McDaniel said there's no reason to believe the shootings were related.
