By JEFF CLARKjclark@sunherald.com Twitter: thejeffclarkA Moss Point man on Friday was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to several drug-related charges.Jackson County Assistant District Attorney Cherie Wade said Rickey Cordero Marion, 28, pleaded guilty to four counts transfer of cocaine and one charge of possession of cocaine. Wade said the crimes were committed in August 2013 and in April and June of 2015.Marion, Wade said, was sentenced as a habitual offender due to him having two prior drug convictions.His sentence on the possession charge was for 30 years, with 15 to be served day-for-day in prison and 15 years on post-release supervision. He was also sentenced to pay a fine of $2,000 and all courts costs.His sentence for the transfer charges was eight years in prison and a $2,000 fine for each charge.Marion's sentences will run concurrently.
