GEORGE COUNTY -- Sheriff’s officials are searching for a man after a narcotics investigation Wednesday led to the seizure of $15,000 worth of methamphetamine.
Sheriff Keith Havard said sheriff’s investigators, along with agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, found three-quarters of a pound of meth, commonly known as ice, in a house in the 100 block of Bradley Road in the Benndale community.
The ice has a street value of $15,000, Havard said.
Officials are asking for help to find Brandon “Slim” Bradley, who is wanted in connection with the meth seizure.

Havard said Bradley escaped from the state Department of Corrections and is on parole for a conviction of transfer of a controlled substance.
Anyone with information on Bradley’s whereabouts is asked to call the George County Sheriff’s Office at 601-947-4811 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
The state Department of Corrections, FBI Safe Streets Task Force and Jackson County sheriff’s K9 unit assisted in the investigation.
