The double stabbing at Pine Tree Apartments left one person dead and another hospitalized.
Pascagoula police Lt. Doug Adams said the original call that brought officers to the apartments around 11:30 a.m. reported two people were stabbed during a home invasion. Police found the two stabbing victims when they arrived.
Both men were taken to the hospital. One was pronounced dead at 12:02 p.m. at Singing River Hospital, said Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus. The other is undergoing treatment.
Authorities have not released either man's name, pending family notification.
