Cash, medication stolen in Gulfport home robbery

GULFPORT — Gulfport police are looking for a suspect in a Monday night armed robbery of a Gulfport home.

Gulfport police Sgt. Damon McDaniel said a man entered a home in the 2000 block of 33rd Street brandishing a handgun around 6 p.m. The robber pilfered through the purse of someone inside the home and stole an undetermined amount of cash and medication.

The suspect fled the scene on foot.
