JACKSON COUNTY -- An Alabama man has been extradited to Jackson County to face prosecution on a burglary charge, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said.
Joseph Charles Tomberlin, 28, of Deatsville, Ala., was sent to the Jackson County jail Thursday, where he'll stay jailed until his initial court appearance.
Tomberlin is accused in the July 22 theft of a television and other items from a home in the St. Martin community. A warrant was issued July 30.
Burglary carries a maximum sentence of 10 years and up to a $10,000 fine.
