Vancleave man arrested in assault on juvenile

A Vancleave man has been arrested in an assault a juvenile.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said James Timothy Harris, 42, was arrested Wednesday after deputies went to check on someone at a residence in the 13000 block of Roanoke Road.

Ezell said Harris was arrested on the charge of domestic violence aggravated assault after evidence showed he had been in a dispute with a juvenile.

Harris was taken to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. Ezell said his bond had not been set.
