Lumberton man accused in trafficking of child sex-abuse images
JACKSON -- Investigators with the State Attorney General's Office on Thursday arrested a Lumberton man accused in the trafficking of photos of children being sexually abused.
Ronald Donovan, 54, faces a charge of exploitation of a child, Attorney General Jim Hood said in a press release.
Donovan was arrested by investigators with the AG's Cyber Crime Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with assistance from Picayune police and Pearl River County Sheriff's Office.
Donovan is being held in the Pearl River County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison.
This case will be prosecuted by Special Assistant Attorney General Brandon Ogburn of the Cyber Crime Unit.
