D'Iberville police seek drugstore burglar who stole narcotics

D'Iberville police are searching for a man caught on camera burglarizing Turner Drugs on Automall Parkway.

Police Capt. Marty Griffin said in a press release video surveillance captured a man breaking into the building about 11 p.m. Tuesday.

He was wearing black boots, black pants, a black hoodie and gloves, and had his face covered. His pants displayed a red triangle tag on the right-rear pocket, and on the front-left leg was some type of red emblem. He was wearing a type of apron that carried tools.

Footage shows the man pulling up a building panel while he hid behind large garbage cans. Once inside, he crawled on the floor and limited his movements to avoid motion sensors that could activate the alarm, Griffin said.

The man took an undetermined type and amount of narcotics.
