Two arrested in theft of thousands of dollars' worth of Magic cards
Biloxi police say two people have been jailed after they tried to sell "several thousand dollars'" worth of stolen role-playing game cards.
Biloxi police investigator Nick Sonnier said Jared Lee Reynolds, 31, and Brookelynn Parker Kelso, 22, were arrested Thursday after they tried to sell the cards at a game shop on Pass Road in Biloxi.
Sonnier said the Magic game cards were stolen during an automobile burglary in the 700 block of Beach Boulevard in late January.
He said the owner of the game shop was familiar with the burglary and contacted the police when the cards were brought in to be sold.
Reynolds was arrested on an auto burglary charge and Kelso was arrested on a receiving/possessing stolen property charge.
They were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Reynolds' bond was set at $50,000 and Kelso's bond was set at $25,000.
