Saucier man arrested after police find stolen property
A Saucier man was arrested Monday in connection with a theft that took place last week, authorities said.
Joshua Lee Clover, 34, was charged with possession of stolen property.
Harrison County deputies responded to a home in Saucier on Friday on a theft report, Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said in a release. A Razor electric bike, a dune buggy and a scooter had been taken from an open garage.
The Sheriff's Office sent information on the stolen property to other area law enforcement agencies.
On Monday, Gulfport police stopped a vehicle, driven by Clover, for speeding, Peterson said. Officers found the stolen items in the back of the truck.
Clover was taken to the Harrison County jail on a $100,000 bond, set by Judge Diane Ladner.
