Officials: Saucier man stabbed victim in neck
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said a man is in stable condition at USA Medical Center in Mobile after being stabbed in the neck.
Peterson said deputies responded to a call Thursday from a man with a stab wound in the 1700 block of U.S. 49 in Saucier. Arriving deputies found a man walking toward them with a stab wound to the neck, Peterson said.
The man said he was driving Charles Ivy, 36, of Saucier, to a residence when Ivy stabbed him in the neck and jumped out of his car.
The wounded man was taken to Garden Park Medical Center and later to Mobile.
Ivy was arrested Friday after witnesses spotted him near the scene of the stabbing. He was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault.
He was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $100,000 by Judge Melvin Ray.
