Minors accused in two break-ins at business

GEORGE COUNTY -- Two juveniles are accused of breaking into American Tank & Vessel and damaging equipment and machinery on two different nights, Sheriff Keith Havard said.

The business, a fabrication plant on Evanston Road in Lucedale, reported the burglaries occurred during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend between Jan. 15 and 18.

Havard said investigators identified the suspects as two teens, ages 15 and 16.

Both face charges of commercial burglary and felony malicious mischief.

Havard said the case has been turned over to the George County Youth Court.
