Man wanted in Papa John's burglary arrested in Meridian

A man wanted in connection with the burglary of a Papa John's Pizza in Ocean Springs was arrested Wednesday in Meridian.

Ocean Springs police Capt. William Jackson said Chad Brewster, 45, was picked up near the bus station after authorities learned he was planning to take a Greyhound Bus from Meridian to Kalamazoo, Mich.

Brewster is being held at the Lauderdale County jail until he can be brought back to Ocean Springs to face a charge of burglary of a commercial building.

Brewster was identified in a surveillance video taken from the store Friday.

Bradley Paul Randle Cherry, 20, was arrested after police questioned him about the burglary, Williams said.

Cherry, who had recently been fired from Papa John's, said he and Chambers had discussed burglarizing the building, Williams said.
