Vancleave man accused of sex crime
A Vancleave man has been arrested on a charge of sexual battery.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said a 26-year-old was arrested Tuesday for his involvement with a juvenile under the age of 16.
If convicted, the accused could spend up to 30 years in prison and, or a pay a fine of $10,000.
The Sun Herald does not identify suspects in sex-crime cases unless they were arrested on more than one felony, are indicted or identified as being in a position of public trust, such as a teacher or coach.
