Man arrested on outstanding malicious mischief charge
HARRISON COUNTY -- Deputies arrested a fugitive Monday during a routine traffic stop.
Russel B. Moody, 64, of Gulfport, faces a charge of malicious mischief.
About 9 p.m., a deputy pulled over a black Dodge van on County Farm Road just south of Interstate 10 for an improper equipment violation, Sheriff Troy Peterson said in a press release.
The deputy discovered the driver was a wanted on a malicious mischief charge through the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.
Moody was taken into custody without incident. He is being held in the Harrison County jail on $1,000 bond.
