George County man arrested for burglary, weapons charges

A George County man has been arrested in a series of burglaries.

George County Sheriff Keith Havard said Billy James DuBose, 49, was arrested Monday on the charges of burglary of a dwelling, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

DuBose was taken to the George County Regional Jail. His bond has not been set.

Havard said DuBose is the second person arrested in connection with the burglaries.
