Ex-boyfriend stabbed Moss Point woman's guest, deputies say
MOSS POINT -- A person was stabbed during a domestic incident Monday, officials said, prompting the arrest of a Vancleave man.
Jackson County deputies responded to a report of a stabbing in the 8000 block of Mississippi 613 about 7:25 p.m., Sheriff Mike Ezell said in a press release.
A woman at the residence told deputies her ex-boyfriend, Charlie Whitney Jr., came to her house uninvited, stabbed a person who was visiting, then left.
EMT units arrived and took the victim, whom authorities would not identify, to Singing River Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies found and arrested Whitney, 33, on a charge of aggravated assault, Ezell said.
Whitney's bond information was not immediately available.
