Cash, ATM stolen from George County store

GEORGE COUNTY -- Sheriff's investigators have asked help to identify whoever burglarized the Benndale Superstore, stealing cash and an automated teller machine.

The store, on Mississippi 26, was broken into early Wednesday, sheriff's office spokeswoman Shonna Pierce said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the George County Sheriff's Office at 1-601-947-4811, or Mississippi Coast Crimestoppers at 1-877-787-5898.

Tipsters will remain anonymous, Pierce said.
