Waveland police: Man hits another with car outside Wal-Mart

A Hancock County resident was arrested on an aggravated assault charge after he hit a man with a car, authorities said.

Waveland police said Brandon Tingstrom and the other man had an altercation in a Wal-Mart parking lot that led to Tingstrom hitting him with his car.

Tingstrom was released from jail after posting a $25,000 bond.

The man who was hit was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover fully, police said.
