OCEAN SPRINGS -- Three people are accused in a home break-in Friday and the theft of Christmas presents and other items, officials said.

Police received a residential burglary report in the 2200 block of Bienville Boulevard about 7 a.m.

Police Capt. William Jackson said thieves broke into the home through a window and took items bought as Christmas presents.

An investigation led to the arrests of Tanner Schaefer, 20; Lisa Marie Burge Ross, 38; and Dakota Cheyene Ross, 18, on residential burglary charges, all of Ocean Springs.

They are held at the Ocean Springs jail, awaiting their initial court appearance before Judge Matthew Mestayer. Bonds have not been set at this time.
