Jackson County searching for inmate who didn't show for work detail

JACKSON COUNTY -- Jackson County deputies are searching for Dustin David Yates, 32, an inmate who failed to report for a work detail Tuesday, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

Yates was last seen walking around the old Jackson County courthouse on Magnolia Street in downtown Pascagoula.

He is white, 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds.

He was arrested in September in Pascagoula on a charge of shoplifting.
