Man arrested after pot, knife found in car
BILOXI -- A Saturday traffic stop led to the arrest of a felon on a weapons charge.
Biloxi police Sgt. Donnie Dobbs said Wayne Marc Williams, 24, was arrested on the charge of possession of a weapon by a felon. Williams' address was not available.
Dobbs said Williams was stopped on traffic violations, and a small amount of marijuana and an 8-inch butcher knife were found in his vehicle.
Williams was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. His bond was set at $10,000 by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain. Williams also was fined $1,429 by the city of Biloxi for the traffic violations and the possession charge.
