Bay St. Louis man in custody in sex crimes case
Another of South Mississippi's most-wanted criminal suspects is in custody, this one accused of sex crimes against children, the Hancock County jail docket confirms.
Albert. J. Laneaux III, 27, of Bay St. Louis, has been in custody since Tuesday in Hancock County on two counts of touching of a child for lustful purposes. He's accused of sex crimes against minors, ages 10 and 15.
He remained jailed Saturday, with his total bond set at $70,000. In addition, he's being held on a contempt of court charge.
Laneaux was one of 29 people featured in the Sun Herald's most-wanted series Sunday. Since the series began, more than 125 people have been taken into custody.
