Two most-wanted suspects surrender
Two of South Mississippi's most-wanted criminal suspects have surrendered.
Khalil Bryant, 18, turned himself in Monday at the Moss Point Police Department. He was arrested on a charge of armed robbery and later released on a $10,000 bond.
Bryant and three others, identified by authorities as Sherman Williams, 19, Gabriel Brown, 18, and David Hudson Brown, 22, are each facing charges of armed robbery in the case. All but Bryant had been taken into custody.
Police Chief Art McClung said the four entered a Mississippi 63 business through a rear employee entrance. One of the four was wearing a ski mask. Among those arrested were two former employees of the business.
In an unrelated case, Taylor Lynn Brooks, 24, surrendered to Biloxi police about 12:40 p.m. Monday. She was booked on a charge of credit card fraud and released from custody.
Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set her bond at $20,000 when the arrest warrant was issued.
Bryant and Brooks were among 29 most-wanted suspects featured in the Sun Herald on Sunday. Since the Sun Herald began the most-wanted series in 2007, more than 125 suspects have been taken into custody.
Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers issues cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a case.
