Harrison County burglar escapes from prison work detail in Canton
A man in prison for malicious mischief and non-residential burglary in Harrison County escaped from a work detail Thursday at a library in Canton, officials said.
Officials are searching for Donald Jack Woodcock III, an inmate assigned to the Madison County Community Work Center. He was serving a four-year sentence.
The Mississippi Department of Corrections said Woodcock, 28, was last seen at 12:44 p.m.
Woodcock is 6-feet-1, weights 170 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
