Teens accused of taking guns, rare coins, jewelry from St. Martin home


JACKSON COUNTY -- Officials arrested two teenangers in connection with a home burglary in St. Martin where guns, jewelry and rare coins were taken, and more arrests are expected.

Sheriff Mike Ezell said a burglary was reported at a house on the 9300 block of Tucker Road on Sept. 8. He said several firearms were taken, including handguns and long guns. Money was also stolen from the residence.

Investigators arrested 18-year-old Rico Dinh Hua of Biloxi on Wednesday and 19-year-old Michael Dale Dearman Jr. of Vancleave on Thursday. Both are accused of burglary of a dwelling.

Hua and Dearman each face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.

Ezell said the items stolen from the home have yet to be recovered and investigators expect more arrests in the case.
