The search for an armed robber who has been on the run since Thursday has ended, Bay St. Louis police said.
Chief Mike De Nardo said an investigation into the Thursday night robbery of Rosetti's Liquor Barrel led officers to Kelly Seale, 36, and detectives were able to quickly get a confession.
De Nardo said Seale was stopped by officers at 2 a.m. Friday morning and found to be wanted by the Gulfport Police Department in connection with another armed robbery.
Seale then confessed to the Bay St. Louis robbery and told officers where he dropped all evidence from the robbery, De Nardo said.
The investigation began when officers responded to a call Thursday night of a man pulling a gun on the cashier and demanding money before fleeing on foot.
Officers warned residents that the suspect was to be considered armed and dangerous.
Seale was arrested and taken to the Harrison County jail on armed robbery charges from the Gulfport Police Department and the Bay St. Louis robbery.
