Sheriff's investigators have arrested Daryl Laruth Knox Jr., 48, of Gulfport, on a charge of embezzlement, according to Sheriff Mike Byrd.
Knox is accused of embezzling $1,000 from Elite Auto Brokers during a four-month period. He had been a employee of the business, authorities said.
At the time of his arrest, Knox already was out of jail on bond on another embezzlement charge also related to his employment at the same business. Investigators learned through their investigation that one of the thefts occurred after Knox had been terminated from his job at the same business.
