Police searching for suspects who robbed Hooters

BILOXI – Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed the Hooters Restaurant on Beach Boulevard late Thursday night.

The manager told police two men came in to the restaurant shortly before 11 p.m. while crews were cleaning up and closing. One held a handgun while the other used a knife; they demanded money, Investigator Steve Schlicht said.

The pair took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot.

“Both subjects were wearing all black with black facial covering similar to a nylon or mesh mask,” Schlicht said in a release to the media.

Anyone with information about the armed robbery is asked to call Biloxi police at 392-0641.
