Long Beach police investigating deadly shooting in house Thursday morning

Emergency medical responders and Long Beach police found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds on Thursday morning in a house in the 1800 block of Allen Road, Police Chief Billy Seal said.

Seal said multiple people were in the home when the man was shot. One of them called 911 to report the shooting, he said.

Police responded around 4:40 a.m., he said, adding, “We are in the early stages of the investigation.”

Seal said more details would be released as the investigation progresses.
