Former Mississippi Coast casino worker embezzled thousands to gamble, records say

A former employee of Harrah’s Gulf Coast casino, indicted on a felony embezzlement charge, stole $15,000 from the casino and used the money to gamble there, according to records filed in the case.

Issaccia L. Falconer, 30, of Gulfport, pleaded guilty in April. She admitted stealing the money in January 2024 and using it to place bets at the Biloxi casino.

After entering the guilty plea, Circuit Judge Randi Mueller sentenced Falconer to a suspended seven-year prison sentence, with four years to serve under post-release supervision.

The judge granted Falconer a non-adjudicated sentence, meaning she will not have a felony conviction on her record if she successfully completes the term of the sentence, including paying full restitution to her former employee.

Court records show Falconer had no prior felony convictions.
