Ex-worker at Biloxi business stole thousands in embezzlement case, police say

A woman arrested on an embezzlement charge in Biloxi is accused of stealing $14,881.32 from her employer, according to Biloxi police.

Gladys Renee Herrington, 47, was taken into custody Monday on the felony offense.

She is accused of stealing the money when she was supposed to be handling and depositing money into the bank for the business.

The business she worked for was in the 200 block of Eisenhower Drive.

After her arrest, Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set her bond at $25,000. She was jailed in Harrison County.
