Texas 20-year-old arrested in South MS, charged with kidnapping Florida juvenile
A Florida man was arrested and charged with kidnapping Thursday after a traffic stop on I-10 in Harrison County.
The Biloxi Police Department stopped a westbound vehicle being driven by a female juvenile and arrested Tyler Ankenbruck, a 20-year-old from Texas.
Ankenbruck and the driver told officers they were traveling from Florida to Houston. Further investigation found the mother of the juvenile had told Ankenbruck not to take her daughter out of Florida.
Ankenbruck was given a bond of $250,000 by Judge Albert Fountain. The juvenile was taken into custody until her mother could respond and take her back to Florida.
