Biloxi PD searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ felon after shooting
The Biloxi Police Department said Thursday it is searching for Dickie Waltman, 61, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Beauvoir Road on the old Broadwater golf course, where witnesses said a White male, later identified as Waltman, shot a 34-year-old in the hand. The victim is in stable condition.
Waltman has not been located and has an active felony warrant for his arrest on an aggravated assault charge. Biloxi PD says he should be considered armed and dangerous. Waltman was last seen wearing a white tank top, khaki shorts and black tennis shoes, and was riding on a black bicycle.
