3 arrested, dozens of animals seized in Coast dog-fighting bust, sheriff says

Three people have been arrested and charged after an investigation into a dog-fighting operation on Pintail Lane in Vancleave, according to Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter.

Princeton Scott Knox, 45, was charged with dog fighting and animal cruelty, Tracy Danielle Daniels, 63, was charged with dog fighting, and Jaswan Savae Butler was charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

During the course of the investigation, deputies executed a search warrant and seized 67 dogs. two goats, one horse and one rooster. All animals were taken by the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
