Two accused of trafficking fentanyl arrested with gun, cash and scales, police say
Two people were arrested Monday in Gulfport on suspicion of trafficking fentanyl, authorities said.
A multi-day operation led authorities to recover 40 grams of fentanyl, 9 grams of marijuana, a gun, several thousand dollars, digital scales and plastic packaging, Gulfport police Lt. Jason DuCré said in a news release.
Kevon Jamall Barnes, 29, and Danielle Lashay Jordan, 30, were arrested on suspicion of trafficking the drug and are held in the Harrison County jail on a $250,000 bond.
