Two 17-year-olds were also arrested in the case on suspicion of shooting into the home. Police said the teenagers and Whittle returned home after the shooting. Officers who searched the home found two stolen guns, according to the news release.
Whittle and the two 17-year-olds are being held in the Harrison County jail on bonds of $800,000 and $500,000, respectively.
