Lt. Candace Young, a spokesperson for Biloxi police, said patrons told an officer working the downtown bar scene that someone had threatened to retrieve a gun from a car. The officer saw Coleman with a gun as people ran from the bar, according to Young.
Confronted by the officer, police said Coleman returned to his car and led officers through neighborhoods until he surrendered at a dead end in the 500 block of Comfort Place.
Coleman is being held in the Harrison County jail on a $275,000 bond.
